The now annual highlight of the Sacconi Quartet’s diary, the Sacconi Chamber Music Festival takes place this weekend in Folkestone. The schedule is packed with collaborations with artists such as pianists Charles Owen and John Paul Ekins, double bassist Chi-chi Nwanoku and musicians from the Royal College of Music.

The Quartet will also be performing Elvis Costello’s ‘The Juliet Letters’, which was first toured with the Brodskey Quartet in 1993. The Quartet will perform this ‘Shakespearean song-cycle’ with lead singer of contemporary folk band Bellowhead, Jon Boden.

The Sacconi Chamber Music Festival takes place from 15th-17th May at various locations across Folkestone. For more information, and to buy tickets, please see here.
