Stile Antico is thrilled to launch its three-concert residency at the prestigious Palais des Beaux-Arts (BOZAR) in Brussels during 2016/17. The group’s opening performance, tonight at the Eglise Notre-Dame de la Chapelle, features their ‘Sacred or Profane?’ programme, juxtaposing religious works with the risque chansons on which they were based. The other concerts in the series are ‘In a strange land’, exploring Elizabethan composers in exile, and the group’s first foray into the music of Bach.
The residency follows on from several successful previous visits to BOZAR over the last few years.
