As of today, Sacconi Quartet have released a new album.
The album consists of Roxanna Panufnik‘s chamber works including the Sacconi Quartet’s own commission, Heartfelt.
This is the culmination of two years of collaboration between Roxanna and the quartet, who commissioned Roxanna to write the work that became Heartfelt.
Heartfelt is composed based on the real heartbeat of Albie, the bear in the Bristol Zoo.
The album includes a stellar cast of guest musicians to make the album, and the disc has already been named one of Gramophone Magazine’s Essential New Classical Albums.
The full programme and line-up is as follows.
Private Joe: Roderick Williams baritone Sacconi Quartet
