The Wigmore Soloists album of Septets by Berwald and Beethoven has been awarded the Diapason d’or for September 2023.

The album, released in May 2023 on BIS Records, features Beethoven’s and Berwald’s septets for violin, viola, cello, double bass, clarinet, bassoon and horn.
