Melvyn Tan joins Australian film, television and stage icon, Nadine Garner, to bring to life Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen at Sydney Opera House this summer. A unique but faithful adaptation in words and music, with a score by Carl Davis, Melvyn will perform alongside violinist Madeleine Easton.
The production runs from 14-24 August in the Playhouse at Sydney Opera House.
Melvyn has a long association with Carl Davis’s music for Pride and Prejudice. He performed the original title music to the 1995 BBC television adaptation, starring Jennifer Ehle and Colin Firth.
