Wigmore Hall is launching a new television series of chamber music broadcasts on Sky Arts 2, featuring artists such as Iestyn Davies, Marc-André Hamelin, the Takács Quartet, Sarah Connolly, and Stile Antico, to name but a few. Recorded live in HD on the Wigmore stage, Director of Wigmore Hall John Gilhooly said: ‘We are very pleased to present such a fine roster of internationally celebrated artists in these programmes, and to share these intimate recitals with a much wider audience’. Stile Antico‘s performance with Fretwork (including works by Byrd for the Feast of Corpus Christi) will be broadcast on Monday 23 September at 8pm, Tuesday 24 September at 2am, Wednesday 25 September at 2pm and Thursday 26 September at 8am.
