Peter Donohoe’s performances with the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Radio conducted by Vladimir Fedoseyev have received some great reviews.

At Leeds Town Hall on Saturday 5th October, Peter performed Rachmaninov’s Third Piano Concerto. In a review in the Yorkshire Post, David Denton has written: “The opening movement, including the composer’s highly demanding original cadenza, was electrifying; his filigree decorations having a capricious quality, while those octave passages in an adventurously fast finale were full of his trademark brio.” To read the full review, please click here.

At Usher Hall, Edinburgh on Sunday 6th October, Peter performed Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini. David Kettle of the Scotman has written: “[Donohoe’s] closing variations bristled with energy, but the slow episode sang with pure poetry.” To read the full review, please click here.

Noriko Ogawa will also be performing Rachmaninov’s Third Piano Concerto and Rhapsody on a Theme by Paganini with the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra of Moscow Radio this week at The Anvil, Basingstoke on Tuesday 15th, at St David’s Hall, Cardiff on Wednesday 16th and at the Corn Exchange, Cambridge on Thursday 17th October.
