She’Koyokh’s brand new album, ‘First Dance on Second Avenue’ was released on Friday 31st March, with World Music Network’s Riverboat Records.
The disc was launched at a sold-out concert at Kings Place on Friday 17th March, and takes listeners on a journey of delight: ‘from polyphonic Bulgarian singing to a Serbian song about pigeons and raspberries, and from a tale told in a Turkish sauna to a love song for a gypsy girl with penetrating green eyes’.

The disc has been given a 5* review in fRoots Magazine and The Guardian has given the disc 4 stars: “She’Koyokh are one of the finest and most entertaining British-based exponents of global music… engaging, accomplished klezmer and Balkan songs”.
