‘Divine Theatre’ has already been awarded the Clef de Res Musica, who remarked on Stile Antico’s ‘cohesion, vocal colour, the freshness of its voices, the clarity and the agility of the counterpoint, and its expressivity’. The disc has also been nominated for a Gramophone award.
This is Stile Antico’s third GRAMMY nomination, following ‘Song of Songs’ in 2009 and ‘Music for Compline’ in 2007.
