Next, it was off to Barbican Hall on 02 November, for a performance of the Paderewski Piano concerto, alongside the BBC Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Michal Nesterowicz. Janina played with and with ‘evident relish and affection,’ according to Arts Desk , and ‘virtuosity’ as said by The Times.
If you missed this incredible performance, don’t worry, Janina will rejoin the BBC SO on 6 January for a second performance of the Paderewski in Poland, and it’s still available to listen to on BBC Radio 3 iPlayer until 02 December.
Janina Fialkowska will return to London early next year for a performance at Kings Place on 11 January 2019 as part of their Master Series.
