On Saturday 30 December, Tamsin Waley-Cohen will give the UK premiere of American composer David Ludwig’s Swan Song at Wigmore Hall. Performing with her regular recital partner, pianist George Xiaoyuan Fu, they’ll also perform Sonatas by Mozart and Beethoven.
Swan Song was inspired by Schubert’s Fantasy for violin and piano D934. ‘Rarely have I seen a large audience so engaged with every note of an extended work on first hearing’, wrote The Washington Post.
