Recorded live at Bangor Abbey on the southern shore of Belfast Lough, Tamsin Waley-Cohen‘s recent performance with soprano Ruby Hughes and pianist Huw Watkins will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 3’s Lunchtime Concert on Tuesday 5 March, Wednesday 6 March and Thursday 7 March at 1pm.

Tuesday’s concert broadcast opens with Tamsin’s performance of The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams, with pianist Huw Watkins. As well as works by Dowland, Wednesday’s concert broadcast will feature Elgar’s Violin Sonata Op.82 and Liberty by Deborah Pritchard, a song-cycle for soprano, violin and piano written for the 2023 Two Moors Festival, which takes place across Dartmoor and Exmoor in October, and is led by Tamsin Waley-Cohen as its Artistic Director.
