In her position as Artistic Director, violinist Tamsin Waley-Cohen launched the programme of the 2024 Two Moors Festival at an event in Exeter last week. The Festival, which explores a theme of Time, runs across Exmoor and Dartmoor in October. The Festival brings world-class performances to beautiful – often remote – venues, from tiny churches to community halls, country houses and castles, and this year there will be performances by recorder ensemble Palisander, bright young brass quintet Connaught Brass and BBC Music Magazine Award winner, pianist George Xiaoyuan Fu, as well as internationally acclaimed performers such as baritone Roderick Williams, vocal ensemble Stile Antico, and harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani.
