This month Septura celebrates its 10th anniversary!
Septura celebrates its anniversary with a concert at the Wigmore Hall on Saturday (16th Nov, 1pm) with a programme of De Lassus, Prokofiev, Shostakovich and a world premiere by Roxanna Panufnik (entitled Seven Heavens)
Septura was born out of a passion for the awe-inspiring sound of brass instruments. The creation – the brass septet – is vibrant and versatile, and they aim to harness its intense emotional power to produce transformative musical experiences for our audiences. They have brought together some of the very best brass players in the UK, and with their skill and virtuosity they have forged a chamber group described as “dazzlingly polished” (BBC Music Magazine), and now firmly established as one of the best in the world.
