Miclen LaiPang, violinist of Trio Zadig, will be entrusted with a golden-period Stradivarius for the next three years, courtesy of the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel and Charles Castleman. He will play the violin which has previously been known as the “Marquis de Champeaux” and will now be renamed to the 1707 “Charles Castleman” Stradivarius.
“I am profoundly grateful for the opportunity to play the “Charles Castleman” Stradivarius for the next three years. To carry forward its remarkable history and the legacy of the extraordinary manwhose name it now bears is a responsibility and privilege that I will treasure every moment. This is a celebration of music’s timeless power to transcend generations and create something truly eternal.” Miclen LaiPang
