Multi-award-winning Japanese pianist Manami Suzuki made history in 2024 as the first Japanese pianist and the first female pianist to win the prestigious Hamamatsu International Piano Competition in Japan, alongside the Chamber Music Award and Audience Prize.

The Hamamatsu International Piano Competition presents a celebratory evening of music from current competition winner Manami Suzuki alongside a pre-concert talk exploring ‘Pianomania’ with special guests Noriko Ogawa, Sean Rafferty and Alistair McGowan. The repertoire in the concert exhibits the breadth, spirit and energy of her performances on display during the competition in November 2024 and highlights from Manami’s debut album.
