The Kantonsschule in Wetzikon, Switzerland is currently hosting “Klavierissimo 2026” – a piano festival dedicated to the dedicated to the composer and music publisher Antonio Diabelli (1781–1858). Melvyn Tan performs concerts and masterclasses as part of the festival, alongside fellow pianists Ronald Brautigam, Ketevan Sepashvili, Plamena Mangova and Mischa Cheung (which forms the “Diabelli Team).
19th Feb – Concert including Melvyn performing Beethoven’s Seven Variations on “God Save the King”
20th Feb – Concert with Variations on Diabelli’s Waltz (1781–1858) by composers from 1820 to the present day
21st Feb – Pre-concert talk + concert with Variations on Diabelli’s Waltz (1781–1858) by composers from 1820 to the present day
