Tamsin Waley-Cohen and pianist James Baillieu perform at the Wigmore Hall today at 3pm, with works by Mozart, Haydn and CPE Bach

“Lauded by The Strad for the ‘improvisatory panache’ of her music making and by BBC Music Magazine for her ‘passion and musical imagination’, Tamsin Waley-Cohen scored rave reviews for the comprehensive survey of CPE Bach’s violin works she recorded with James Baillieu. ‘Baillieu’s rhythmic variation’ wrote Gramophone, ‘… is lined with thoughtfulness and honesty…, while Waley-Cohen purrs beneath with con sordino velvet.’”

This is part of a special focus day in which Wigmore Hall celebrates James Baillieu: The Art of the Collaborative Pianist.
