Released today on Signum Classics is ‘Reaching Farther: Clare College 1326–2026‘, the new album from The Choir of Clare College, Cambridge and Director of Music Graham Ross.

Marking the 700th anniversary of Clare College, the album brings together choral music commissioned for and closely associated with the Choir. It ranges from William Denis Browne’s canticles, written as a student in 1911, to world premiere recordings of new commissions, including Nico Muhly’s title anthem, Héloïse Werner’s canticles and a setting by current undergraduate Thomas Alban. It also includes the first recording of a work by former Clare Organ Scholar Ayo Bankole.
