Choral Ambassador and conductor Dominic Peckham recently travelled to Nairobi for Kuimba Pamoja – the inaugural meeting of the National Youth Choir of Kenya. Whilst in Nairobi, Dominic met with officials and key figures from across Kenya to discuss plans for the profect. Dominic also worked with staff and students from Hillcrest International School and local schools, leading workshops and masterclasses which culminated in a performance.
This visit marks the start of an exciting collaboration between Dominic and Hillcrest School. Dominic is set to travel across Kenya in the first half of 2016 to spread the word about Kuimba Pamoja – the National Youth Choir of Kenya.
