The Scotsman praised the group’s ‘enchantingly smooth ensemble’ going on to give the disk 5 stars, and the recording was chosen as the Album of the Week on BBC Radio Scotland’s ‘Classics Unwrapped’.
‘Music for the Queen of Heaven’ features 20th century and contemporary Marian motets, featuring many pieces that the group has commissioned from the likes of Gabriel Jackson, Cecilia McDowall and Roxanna Panufnik.
