The new music video for Jay Capperauld‘s new solo flute piece “The Pathos of Broken Things“, written for and performed by Katherine Bryan, has just been released. With film by Louise Mather & sound by Douglas Whates, the video captures the unique essence of Jay’s writing, with beautiful shots across Glasgow setting a Scottish scene.
A composition graduate of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Jay more recently took part in the inaugural Composers’ Hub Scheme 2015/16 as a Composer with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, of which Katherine is Principal Flute.
