A weekend of great concerts!
The Sacconi Quartet are resident quartet for the town of Folkestone in Kent. Folkestone has been the home of the annual Sacconi Festival for 15 years but the Quartet now have a year-round presence in the town with projects that take classical concerts outside of the usual concert venues!
Sacconi Residency Weekend 2022: 7-9 October
The objectives of the residency are:
- Presenting chamber music in innovative ways, attracting new audiences through concerts and related activities in a range of interesting spaces across the Folkestone area
- Integrating educational and community work with concerts and events in order to actively engage all ages and cultures in chamber music and artists’ collaborations
- Collaborating with other artists in the town on community projects
