The Ligeti Quartet return to the Barbican, as part of the new Fragile Earth: Sounds of a Living Planet series that runs from September through to March. Their concert, on the 27th November is called Sunrise Missions, and it traces the shifting contours of memory, nature and change through music by Kaija Saariaho, John Luther Adams, Wadada Leo Smith and others.
 
The concert includes the world premiere of a new piece by London based composer Blasio Kavuma.
