Violinist Ellinor D’Melon performs Vivaldi’s Four Seasons with the Noorlands Opera Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dominic Limburg as part of their collaboration with the Malandain Ballet Biarritz.
On stage are 22 dancers, all classically trained but with a contemporary expression that has become characteristic of Thierry Malandain’s refined and poetic style. *The Four Seasons* is a playful and magnificent choreographic tapestry by two Baroque masters: Antonio Vivaldi and the lesser-known Giovanni Antonio Guido. The music moves from the familiar to the surprising, creating a rich, poetic backdrop for Malandain’s harmonious and energetic choreography.
