The shortlist for the Gramophone Classical Music Awards has been announced.
Congratulations to:
Andrey Gugnin has been shortlisted in the Piano category for his solo Grieg album – Hyperion
Michael Collins has been shortlisted in the Concerto category as he conducts Paul Wee and the Swedish Chamber Orchestra performing Bronsart and Henselt piano concertos – BIS
The Piatti Quartet have been shortlisted int he Song category for their disc of Fauré Chansons with Nicky Spence, Julius Drake and Tim Gibbs – Hyperion

Each of these albums have been included in the final shortlist of three albums per category, just announced in the October issue of Gramophone. The category winners will be revealed at the Gramophone Awards ceremony on October 15th.
