The Two Moors Festival starts tonight. Spanning two weekends and multiple venues across Dartmoor and Exmoor.

“For the past twenty four years, in October, village halls, churches, indoor markets, museums, auction rooms, Nissen huts, country houses and even railway stations across Devon and Somerset, have sprung to life with inspirational recitals, concerts, operas, newly commissioned works, talks, exhibitions, school workshops, masterclasses and more.”

Tonight’s opening concert features artistic director Tamsin Waley-Cohen performing Bach alongside cellist Guy Johnston at St Luke’s Church, Simonsbath. Tomorrow, both Tamsin Waley-Cohen and Guy Johnston return to the stage to perform in Schubert’s Trout Quintet at All Saints’ Church, Dulverton.
